CPC Case Study Theory Test (Module 2)
The DVSA online Theory Test features 6 to 8 case studies based on real-world scenarios. You’ll answer 50 questions, and to pass, you need at least 40 correct answers.
At HDS, we provide sample exams to help you prepare for the Driver CPC Case Study Test for HGV/LGV drivers. For example, our questions might focus on areas like Economical Driving. While our study materials provide valuable insights into the test format and content, they do not replicate the exact DVSA questions, which are kept confidential. This ensures you’re fully equipped to handle real-life challenges and pass the test.
CPC Practical Demonstration Test (Module 4)
After passing the Case Study Test (Module 2), you can book your 30-minute practical demonstration test, which includes two key components:
- Vehicle Walkaround Check:
Show the examiner you can thoroughly inspect the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy, safe, and compliant with regulations. Our training will familiarize you with all aspects of the vehicle and prepare you to explain them clearly. - Load Security:
Demonstrate your ability to secure loads effectively using tools like webbing straps, ratchets, chains, and tensioning bars—essential skills for a professional driver.
What You’ll Learn:
- Preventing criminal activity and illegal immigrant trafficking.
- Responding to emergency situations effectively.
- Properly loading and securing cargo with appropriate tools.
- Ensuring the security of the vehicle and its contents.
- Conducting a full vehicle safety check during a walkaround.
