Course Description
This on-site Stacker Truck training is conducted at your business location. The training begins with a health and safety presentation, followed by a video. After the theory session, participants will move on to practical training and assessment. Ideally, we will need a room for the theory portion and some empty pallets for the practical exercises, but we can adapt to the available space.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a training certificate that complies with UK law and meets insurance requirements. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that refresher training be undertaken every five years.
We understand that on-site training may involve interruptions, such as staff being pulled away, and we are happy to accommodate these situations and work with the available space.

- Familiarizing with truck controls and instruments
- Following the operator’s safety code
- Weight and stability assessments
- Safety video presentation
- Starting, operating, and stopping the stacker truck
- Knowledge check
- Maneuvering in both open and confined areas
- Introduction to the specific lift truck model
- Operating hydraulic controls
- Conducting daily pre-use inspections and maintenance
- Stacking and de-stacking at different heights
- Battery care and maintenance
- Practical test of basic operating skills
