Course Description
This Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift training course is delivered on-site at your business premises. The course begins with a health and safety presentation using a laptop, followed by a safety video. Participants then move on to the practical training and assessment. Ideally, we need a room for the theory portion and some empty pallets for the practical session, but we can adapt to the space available at your location.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a certificate of training, which complies with UK law and meets insurance requirements. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends refresher training every five years.
We understand that on-site training can involve interruptions, such as staff being pulled away, and we are prepared to accommodate these situations. We are also flexible in working with whatever space is available.

- Weight and stability assessment

- Starting, stopping, and operating the forklift
- Knowledge assessment
- Maneuvering in both open and confined spaces
- Introduction to the specific VNA forklift in use
- Operating hydraulic controls
- Conducting daily pre-use inspections and maintenance
- Stacking and unstacking at various heights
- Battery maintenance and care
- Practical test of basic operating skills
