The training begins with a health and safety presentation via laptop, followed by a video. Participants then proceed with the practical training and assessment. Ideally, we need a room for the theory portion and some empty pallets for the practical exercises, but we are flexible and can adapt to the space available at your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of training that complies with UK regulations and meets insurance requirements. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends refresher training every five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We understand that on-site training may experience interruptions, such as staff being pulled away, and we are happy to accommodate these situations and adjust to available space.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hazard awareness and risk management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with forklift controls and instruments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adherence to the operator safety code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weight and stability assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety video presentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starting, stopping, and controlling the forklift<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maneuvering in both open and confined spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to the specific vehicle-mounted lift truck in use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operating hydraulic controls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stacking and unstacking at various heights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attaching and detaching the forklift from the carrying vehicle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical test of basic operating skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course Description This Vehicle Mounted (Moffett) forklift training course is delivered on-site at your business location.
